Des got some good recruits committed here lately. Hopefully we can hold onto them.

Disappointing to see that Vic is still pushing the narrative of “Des is all we can afford”. The only purpose of this mindset is to undermine anyone’s confidence in Des, all while maintaining deniability (like when he responds with “I never say anything bad about players or coaches”).

This type of thread is actually more hurtful to the program than any of the posts/posters he calls out for being negative.

Just part of his agenda that he thinks is subtle. It’s not.

    What a tangled web you weave . . .

    1. I did not start this thread. It was split from some other thread that ended up with this discussion.

    2. What a troll you have become. Please deploy the troll doll now. I have and still stand by the proposition that CMD is and was the best man for the job. I’m sure there were plenty other coaches we could afford, but I continue to believe he was and is the best choice out of what we could afford. The balance is YOUR narrative made up on your time is an apparent attempt to place your agenda on others. Eat it and own it brother . . .

    3. You have reached a new low here with your ___. You really need to get help if this is all you can come up with . . . not sure what you smoking, but it most certainly is the best of it . . .

    Good night Irene . . .

I guess we’ll have to let everyone else decide by reading your body of work….

No, I just said we’ll let your posts speak for themselves. Seems like a fair arrangement to me.

Where ya gonna get the money to pay the deficit with Mike? This dude is not only a mediocre at best coach. He's a freaking zero when it comes to fan appeal. I know, I know, winning is supposed to trump everything. This is true, but when you take a 13 win team one year to a 500 ball club the next with a ton of returning players, you better have some Ben Franklin, Davey Crokett, Yogi Berra home spun wisdom to rally the community with.

Well you hijacked the Steven Blanco Committment thread in a way that diminished fan support of coaching decisions.

Hijacked or tangent posts that take over a topic have the potential to be split off. So yes, you did start this topic.

That is most definitely false. But like statistics, the one in charge here can make a picture that is neither intended or accurate. I wonder who was in charge . . .

Agree with you on the O line that and musical QBs early on definitely cost us some games. But the number one over all thing that was obviously different from the previous 4 years was discipline of the football team. That started in August. I’ll be curious to see if any changes are made this year in that area.
