Since the NCAA started keeping records of infractions back in the mid 50's mens basketball has racked up 318 major infractions. Football has managed 302. The next closest sport after that is women's basketball with 60.

I think NCAA men's basketball is going to get hammered over the next couple of years.

I don't know how to read the infraction totals.

There are way more basketball teams, but there are way more football players.
