The FBI isn't investigating Wade. They were investigating the Adidas rep and Wade was a part of the conversations he had as part of the wire tap.

You are 100% sure he is making offers which are MAJOR rules violations and can bury your program. They were caught on tape. It wasn't just allegations by a student athlete or something like that. Even if he is found to have never truly given money to any recruit or their family or agent, he is out there shopping their program and potentially committed major rules violations. Its a ticking bomb at that point.

That’s not good. I didn’t realize just offers were MaJor. Can you link that info. If that’s the case then they should fire him today because they gonna get hit with major violations and won’t have to pay buyout

Make it Ron Hunter and Bob Marlin. Marlin barking back at Hunter telling him off and to enjoy it after Hunter talks smack. Cajuns fans would eat that up...would we later say he should stay composed? sure. I was at the game and loved the atmosphere, it was what I had hoped for.

The otherwise innocent "making offers" becomes a truly maJor offense because it causes Run Away Cheating Inflation.

And RACI is something the NCAA will never abide by.

    No. A big no.

I would not like any of our coaches to do anything remotely like little willy did. And while I odn't especially like how marlin spoke about the match up before the game, I also don't think it really crossed any lines. It certainly was not as bad as little willy made it out to be.

Coaches should aim for the scoreboard to do their talking.

ETA: and it wasn't just the timeout thing...he also flipped us off and was yelling "F Them" to the crowd.

Key is in the first paragraph where it says "provides or is intended to provide". Even without money changing hands it is pretty easy to see that this rises to Level 1 on a number of fronts.

Little willy got his feelings hurt about a whole lot of nothing. Marlin didn't disparage him nor his team. Little willy showed his arse though so he gets no pity from me.
The atmosphere was electric but I would hope for more class from leaders of men.

What exactly was said by Marlin?

I don’t remember exactly but I think it had something to do with lsu not wanting to play us or something or like they won’t schedule us or something. I think that’s why Wade went on his rpi rant or whatever it was
