“F King isn’t even a real academic. He’s never even been a tenured faculty member.

He got his first president of a university gig after taking over for his freaking dad.

Guy’s actual PHD is in higher ed administration. Let that sink in. His entire education wa purely built around him being given a job he is not qualified for.

Telling other real faculty how things in a university should be run.

This thread is maybe just as embarrassing for us as them ( lol close but no)

There is a lot of wishful thinking in here and that’s understandable but some of you are acting like this is the biggest accomplishment in our athletic history. Actually when you think abut it maybe it is (which is sad in itself)

Also of course there are idiots who post shut in college message boards( tigerdroppings etc) and the bigger the fan base the more idiots but some of you nenes to read some of the posts on this board. Talk about idiotic

Well in the case of lsu, the idiotic behavior goes waaaaay beyond fan forums....guess you didn't see the behavior of those in attendance at the PMAC this past Saturday night. I mean, the guy was caught red handed, and refuses to even meet with their admin....what did they expect the admin and BOS to do? At least with Hud and our NCAA issue we....meaning the admin and fans....were all on the same page that we needed to fix the wrong and move on. It's just nuts how their fans are reacting to this.

I wouldn’t say this is an athletic accomplishment as much as it is karma to a school and fanbase that is right in our territory. As much yapping as their couillion fans do, it’s nice to see them get a taste of some humble pie. If they would leave us alone and quit acting ignorant, not as many of our fans would be laughing about this. But they do. The way they’re reacting to this whole debacle is proof itself. One of their fans even offered to have a candle light vigil in front of Wade’s house. Seriously, how absurd does one have to be to do that?

A lot of their love for Wade started when he called that TO against us in the NIT game last year, so I’m not surprised that a good number of our fans are enjoying this right now. The man’s arrogance blatantly allowed him to leave a paper trail by openly speaking about paying a recruit over the phone. And all of their fans keep saying “Well, everyone else does it.” But everyone else doesn’t leave paper trails like Wade did. The fact of the matter is that he got caught.

So again, our fans are enjoying their karma.

Fans is short for fanatics and most were probably mad that there coach was suspended but I’ve talked to some rational lsu fans who just don’t trust Alleva enough to not think maybe he’s overreacting to the media line he did in duke lacrosse. I don’t know but whether it was mostly the students with the chants or whatever is was a bad look

I think Wade is a total _______ especially with the NIT stuff but Marlin running his mouth beforehand has a lot to do with that. As cocky as wade is he was gonna talk back when he won even if the win was by the skin of his teeth

Yes, I get the dislike for alleva, but they weren't just booing Alleva, they were really cheering for WW....who was caught red-handed buying players. You'd think they would have just a LITTLE embarraresment about that fact. Nope...it's all about Alleva, the BOS and the fact that 'everyone else does it too.'

then why didnt they bring up alleva’s merit earlier? certainly worthy of discussion.... who hires someone and gives them a raise after botching one of the biggest cases in history? what happened to all these extra level of approvals...when we hire someone sounds like “the state” always still has to approve.

But that’s part of the problem. Do I think Marlin said a little too much before the game? Sure. I agreed with him that we should’ve been hosting the NIT game, but when he said that SEC schools don’t really care about NIT games; he gave LSU bulletin board material.

But Wade calling the timeout and screaming “Enjoy this _____” was utterly classless. Maybe it’s just me, but I’m one of those guys who talks back with the scoreboard. There’s no need for that other stuff.

Its the knots state fans tie themselves into trying to explain away Wades taped conversation that I find hilarious. Someone said the "offer" was for playing time!

I feel sleazy typing this because I am by no means defending lsu but as fas as I know the tapes haven’t been released to the Public and in the first trial the judge even threw them out. All we really have is the yahoo articles of what they say about the tapes probably leaked by the defense since they are the ones calling the coaches to testify. The defense attorney even said he’s gonna call as many coaches as he can fit in court
