I don't think it would matter if UNC did it or Northern Iowa. Look what they did to us in football. Whether we like it or not there are so many institutions that skirt the line trying to get players eligible
The technicality was that the courses were open to all students, even though they were clearly designed for the sole purpose of keeping athletes eligible and had no academic value at all.

i would tend to give benefit of doubt to a university that is consistently in top 30 academic rankings, wheres our neighbors and their conference mates seem to be in a free fall when it comes to academics. a fake class as it was allegedly, still has to be better than no class, as lsu hoops flaunted and didnt get in trouble for

If all they have is the comment about "What can we do to get him here?", its zero problem for Wade and the program. If there is more though, ...

Y’all realize the defense called him and the Arizona coach. Much ado about nothing.

Ah, a drowning man will grab anything on the way down. Dawkins reportedly won't cut a deal.

Again there’s lots of legal things a coach can do that could mirror those words by Wade. He absolutely could be guilty as sin, or not. He may be guilty without enough proof. I’m not holding my breath.

The one thing I’m certain of is that LSU getting recruiting cancer isn’t going to help UL in the least. I’m not spending any time contemplating their demise. There’s still a lot of RP posters waiting for the financial ruin of LTUR, or the withdrawal to FCS if ULMOST. None of those things are likely to happen, and if they do won’t move the needle for us. We need to clean up our house.

The question is not what is on that particular tape. It's the questions that come with it.

Now, if you want to play connect the dots.

Interesting Miller and Wade are the two being subpoenaed. I wonder if they've got some questions for them we haven't been thinking about.

Is there a smoking gun that connects Little Willy to payment of a current LSU player? I find the irony of this particular factoid to be interesting......Naz Reid signed with LSU. The other finalist???

    Arizona.

That all depends on how you see it. The courses were set up through a particular curriculum and with the number of students estimated that took these courses, only 1.7% of the students being basketball players. This rings true especially when other investigations were made into the issue along with UNC investigations that came up with evidence that the whistleblower herself had unsubstantiated claims that were untrue.
