You'll have to scroll to the top of the page to see the article. Here's his quote:

"The SEC has a rule that you have to play teams with a three-year rolling RPI. Who in here knows what ULL's three-year rolling RPI is? 138 - I'll save you the research. It was 138 going into this year.

"We have a home-and-home series scheduled with Houston, who was 127, better than ULL. We have a home-and-home scheduled with Memphis, 114, better than ULL. We have an upcoming series with VCU (Wade's previous coaching stop), 25, better than ULL.

"To talk about us being scared to start home-and-home series and playing against people is crazy. It's crazy. We schedule better teams than them based on the SEC scheduling formula"
I give Wade a credit and a pass on this excuse. It opens a door across the board.

Marlin, you get the inbound ball.

UL scheduled Iowa, Clemson, Ole Miss, Richmond and Wyoming, along with Louisiana College, Nichols, McNeese, LA Tech, Savannah State, Loyola New Orleans, and SE Louisiana. He ridiculed our non-conference schedule, yet LSU's is not much better and certainly no one knows how those teams will perform when scheduled. The real schedule difference is in conference, SEC vs. SBC. He had to be freaking out with a one point lead and 1:30 left in the game. I would imagine a lot of pressure was put on him to NOT lose this game to UL. When it was clear he was going to win, he released the pent up tension and started his tirade that carried into the press conference. What a d-bag.
These were the our final RPI's (as per the NCAA archived data) for the last three years not counting this year.

    2015 123
    2016 145
    2017 114

I would guess that would make our three year rolling average 127 and not 138, but maybe I'm not up on the new math they are teaching the youngsters these days.

Somebody needs to ask him what Alcorn States rolling RPI average is.

He may be talking about rolling RPI for Home and Home series.

I blame that on the Advocate's use of fake names.

I know I may be offending people with this condition, but Will Wade seems to have Asperger's syndrome.

Just saying maybe that’s what wade was insinuating since everyone wants to say what Bob was insinuating. I don’t give a ____ what fupa will says. They will make any excuse not to play us on a regular basis. Home and Home or not

Not surprisingly the Baton Rouge media and New Orleans media along with folks in those areas are taking the Tigers point of view. Maybe that is because those media outlets are not reporting profanity was directed towards the Cajuns bench during the late timeout. They also are not reporting their fans called Stove and Bartley LSU rejects after they fouled out. If they knew those two young men they would be embarrassed for not wanting them in their group. I hope they reject a couple more like that and send them our way.
