I imagine that what McNeese did fits within the hiring guidelines, and while repugnant won’t be overturned. I’m never surprised by the lack of integrity displayed by public institutions, and their employees. It’s not happening just in Louisiana but we seem to be more than willing to carry that baton.

I mean….he honestly was doing what every other big program coach does in the country, with the NCAA turning a blind eye until Dick Vital started ranting and raving.

Wade only did what LSU football has been doing for well over a decade. And it’s pretty much “legal” now.

Maybe that’s the kind of coaches we should be looking at in the money sports if this is the new way.

Like it or not, he wasn't doing anything that most of the big boys weren't doing. He got caught bc he was an arrogant _____ and many wanted to see him fall.

What got Wade in trouble was the fact that he was arrogant about it without putting in the resume. He wasn't a HC at a blue blood program, he openly cheated, and admitted it on the phone while being wire tapped. If he keeps his mouth shut, he probably doesn't get fired.

Don’t believe they’re approving of his methods only acknowledging it’s common practice. Only his absolute ego provided the evidence. Evidence that he tried to hide, and also misrepresent.

Its a short term fix for Mcneese, if they have a good year or two Wade will leave at the first offer he gets and Mcneese basketball will go back to obscurity possibly in worst shape than it was to begin with. I am glad Maggard stays away from these types of coaches.

Don’t approve at all but he was a scape goat. I also care a lot more with how much more corrupt the people are you contacted about this than will wade.

I would think by McLeast hiring WW, it helped get some of the stink off State. It's funny he gets a brokeback contract yet guys are signing day one without even a visit. I'd bet my bottom dollar all recruiting was done pre announcement of hiring, where NO rules applied. Dude lied and did not cooperate in an investigation by the NCAA. Dummy.

Those bozos in LC can't even see the writing on the wall. Once WW gets the stink off himself, he gone. Then again, their AD has a 50k bonus if he gets McLeast in a FBS conference.
