What does track man mean?

TrackMan is basically a system that tracks and gives you data on every single thing. For pitching it will give you pitch speed, spin rate, degrees of break, everything. First time I saw the system was in 2019 at the Shrine on Airline. Their system track every single movement on the field from the ball to the players. Everything from a players reaction time to their running speed.

First, a HUGE thank you to everyone that gave to the fundraiser. With a final gift yesterday, we were able to meet our goal. It is incredible to me the generosity and selflessness our fans continue to go above and beyond by supporting the baseball team.

I have had the pleasure of meeting and spending time with the coaches and team over the past couple of seasons. They make it very easy to go out and raise money. But you, the fans, are heroes in my eyes right now. Over the past eight seasons, we have raised over a million dollars for the Diamond Club. I doubt many schools can say that about a support group.

No deadline. You can still donate, or I think we have another need that anything extra will be transferred to it. I am unsure what it is right now, but Coach indicated we have another need.

Everyone knows MelRock and I are good friends. I consider him part of the broadcast team for all the behind the scenes work he does. And, he's got really good bourbon.

But a million bucks? Seriously? That's a pretty incredible figure. I'm guessing there are very few non P5s that have raised that kind of money for baseball through a "booster club."
