In an interesting development, Matt Riser, former Head baseball coach at SLU who was fired after this year, even though his overall record and success was pretty good at SLU is now the Head baseball coach at the University of Memphis.

Rarely does a guy get fired at a Southland school and end up the following year as the HC in the AAC in any sport.
