Just want to see promotion. Effort. Anything. The season will be here soon and it’s more of the same. No buzz. No visibility. Or maybe that’s just the norm now, which is crazy for a team 1 season removed from a Championship (which we actually set an attendance record for. By a lot.)

Acadiana can/will support Cajuns football. We still have several conference attendance records for football. But, apparently winning doesn’t solve everything. The window can be so small and it’s up the administration who gets paid for this stuff to keep the community attached and not just let athletic success across multiple programs do most of their job for them.

Can we agree that USM is one of the biggest games at Cajun Field ever? The SBC two years running is making it a big deal.

USM canceled classes the day following the game. We should as well. Local vendors should also offer discounts with game tickets good through the weekend. Anything to hype the game. Hopefully the team is still in high contention for the West title.

Any other doable ides?

It's so bad I feel like it has to be intentional, especially considering the lack of promotion following the conference championship. Could it be political sabotage? Am I I crazy to think this? Maybe, IDK
