You can't blame them, and in general it has more to do with everything other than the team...seems every home game the last
3 years has been a dumpster fire (with the exception of the championship game...)
For every bad decision made around UL football game experience, there are thousands who said screw it...when your efforts and decisions are centered around making money and not creating a tradition based game experience, your going to loose...sometimes it seems those I'm charge are simply acting as grifters...
UL doesn't ask for support.
They certainly don't do anything to keep UL front and center in people's minds and hearts.
Social media is nothing more than preaching to the choir, not Acadiana.
Killing their RSS feed stops news papers from even tacitly covering Louisiana.
And if you look at the media pass guidelines it says you have to cover UL daily or you will not get a pass.
UL doesn't even cover UL daily.
Southern Mississippi is not bringing 3K to Lafayette on a Thursday night.
Why not if they don’t have to go to school on Friday . . .
That was what they did when they played Louisiana . . .
They created an atmosphere to beat their rival. Their rival is their rival, home or away. They know how low our attendance was the past years, especially last year. Why not try to create a home away from home atmosphere in the stadium of your rival?
