Don't worry, the Green New Deal will create millions of jobs so that your college education is free, health care is free and you no longer have to work to receive a living wage. And, if you run out of money the government will just print more.

I figured since you still run, you might have one of those wheels that hamsters run on but much larger that you could just jump in and recharge the batteries when your solar panels aren't working.

While I do still run, the combination of food, IPAs and old age means that the power from that wheel ain't gonna quite cut it.

Yea, I would not support a large athletic fee imposed on students unless other student fees were eliminated or consolidated.

A bar in CWS already generated $104,395 in revenue by selling jello shots as of 4 hours ago. As RR said on Twitter, we need to grow our RCAF donor base and get creative in doing it.

When the vote for the Master Plan was on, the school relied HEAVILY on athletic dreams leading up to getting it passed.

College Athletics is a part of a well rounded and memerable college experience...

Could you defend that? Specifically, how does it produce better citizens?

I support the Cajuns, and I don't attend nearly as many events as I would like. But I am quite clear that sports serve to further the university's mission, it brings in public & private dollars, and publicity. And it provides scholarships for a lot of young athletes to attend college who might not otherwise do so... but that's only because of the money & publicity.

I can't see any way that it directly improves any other student on campus.

That “free” should be a “fee”. 60% of face value for every ticket during each semester. So volleyball, M&W basketball and football in the fall. Baseball and softball in the spring.
