I believe they’re just trying to equate WCWS with the historical CWS by adding the M. Clearly a woken decision by whoever. Doesn’t make it a good thing to do.

It is the NCAA doing the MCWS. The funny part is they are trying to differentiate the men's and women's college world series, while at the same time allowing men to compete in women's sports. Hey, NCAA, if you want to protect women's sports, how about stopping the idiocracy of allowing men to compete in women's sports?

This is just a repeat of what happened when Lady Cajuns was depreciated.

The Sports information department was forced to add men and or women in front of every news story, whereas before each program was visable and viable on it own.

These things lacked consultation and or were not thought through.
