Done. How y’all related?
Yes, I voted for the local favorite. If you’re not into soccer please read the bios of every player. In the national hotbeds of soccer, the competition is way better than the entire state of a Louisiana, Arkansas or Maine. None are in that hotbed category.
I know it’s a h/s poll, but I’d love to see the player’s club bios. That’s where the recruiting happens.
An unbiased vote would lead to Fuller or Tolbert….wow!!
So, a vote for who one likes is now a biased vote . . . why have a vote then . . .
These votes are almost always popularity contests.
Even water from the hose . . .
Done
And the kicker…signed with Samford. Thank you for proving my point from a few weeks back…the top player in the state once again isn’t signed by a nationally known competitive soccer program
Came to the UL board asking for votes. Wonder how this would have gone over on RP if Samford was replaced with State or McLeast?
My point from a few weeks ago was…local girl soccer talent is falling through the cracks and UL should offer more of them. I really didn’t think that this was overly controversial…I personally love when UL offers local kids.
BTW - Samford is a D1 school that finished 70th in the nation last season. UL had just 3 wins and finished 267th in the final poll. And you think that Alack or similar ‘local’ players aren’t good enough to be offered by UL? Have you ever seen her play?? We will just have to agree to disagree.
Last thing...I will support local high school talent no matter where they go to college.
