This is the first time that if SBC gets picked over we got teams that we can choose from.
Say if Texas State goes to the MWC. We could pick up LaTech, MTSU, WKU etc. in fact LaTech would be the most logical choice for the Sunbelt!

We should of added them the last time SBC expanded.

Well they supposedly they were trying to get in the Sunbelt the last go around. Was I wrong just the Sunbelt decided to expand east?

The West would essentially become a bus league. It would be a very tight geographical fit.

I mean at our level that is all fans want they want to see teams that they know.

We gave LaTurd a placid endorsement as did ULM. The problem is they had already burned down every bridge in the SBC and the departing DOA CUSA members. Additionally having a 3rd Louisiana school brought nothing to the conference. I’m not missing them one bit. After all they advised us we needed to try and get into a better situation like CUSA.

They add zero to the conference, and would require growing to 16. Can’t agree with you on LoTec. Regardless the SBC isn’t adding a third Louisiana school period. If they do it will be ECU, and possibly Texas or Florida.
