My stance is beat writers, should be cheerleaders.
But, and however, their biggest duty is relaying truth, but brutal honesty will make a paper lose readers.

You just found out how some of our posters think they the shizzz. While I may not agree with some of your writings, I applaude your efforts to step up and ask for the help..
This young man is a COLLEGE STUDENT....He may not be a Kevin Foote or a Glenn Guilbeau at this time, but he's willing to put himself up front, ask for some help so he can become a BETTER WRITER!

I don’t let them get to me. I’ve dealt with hardship and the like from my time in high school baseball, so it’s either a win or a learning opportunity.

Honestly, my time as a writer was some of the best life lessons I got from college.
The Dean of Students called me at 10pm one time to yell at me for what I wrote. The SGA senate held a vote to kick me out of the senate for something I wrote.
I learned real fast to stick to my gut and always sniff out people’s motives. And that has served me very well since.
Use “Louisiana” more than “Cajuns” and see heads explode.
