STM's Gabbie Stutes will also be joining the fold... She's solid. Should be fun to watch... I would think she would compete for a middle infield spot.

Assuming no more players leave for the portal, the top returning 2B, SS and 3B are Vasquez, Langaliers and Hayden. There is no questioning Vasquez's defense. If she hits at all, she will play. Unless Langaliers' bat just goes silent, she is going to play. Hayden is a swiss-army knife who could play 6 of the 9 positions effectively.

I expect both transfers to push hard for playing time and insure we have a really strong hitting and defensive IF, next season.

Both new additions are listed at 5'10....something I noticed in the WCWS is there were more taller players than shorter. I think the taller player does have an advantage to create more powerful swings, i.e. more leverage with taller, longer arms and legs.
