The university received $75 Million in this round of funding and $15 Million towards an important project.

Pretty sure the FEMA money was used to repair damages after using it as a shelter for about 20000 folks following Katrina. That repair work was about 2.7 million. The last big upgrade of $20 million was about 2016 and was paid for by bonds thru the Ragin Cajun Facilities.

where are our local state legislators and are they pushing back on this? How can this pass when there are so many other needs in this state? Did the state kick in any money when we did the Cajundome reno? Is the state kicking in any money for the CF reno? This is such crap!!

For the most part, our local delegation in Baton Rouge is pretty pathetic!
