Thread: State funding PMAC Renovations???

    Default State funding PMAC Renovations???

    https://www.wbrz.com/videos/state-sp...s-lsu-library/

About $101 million for PMAC renovations was also set aside in a last-minute amendment to the budget, though — like the library money — actually getting all of that funding will be contingent on whether the state can pay for its other higher-priority projects. About half of the money will come out of LSU's Athletics' own fees and revenue, and only $1 million from the capital outlay savings fund is likely to be paid out in the near future.

The university received $75 Million in this round of funding and $15 Million towards an important project.

Pretty sure the FEMA money was used to repair damages after using it as a shelter for about 20000 folks following Katrina. That repair work was about 2.7 million. The last big upgrade of $20 million was about 2016 and was paid for by bonds thru the Ragin Cajun Facilities.

Any coincidence football tweeted season ticket holders are getting priority seat choice in “the improved Venue?”

Please explain. So you are saying UL got 15 million from the state for Cajun Field renovation, and LSU got 101 million from the state for PMAC renovation in this session?
    Let’s compare apples to apples.

I didn’t have time to read the third bill yet with all the pet projects.

TSAB got $1M up front. $50M in future bonds and $50M will be self funded.

Ok I see. Can you confirm UL got 15 million for CF renovation?

For the most part, our local delegation in Baton Rouge is pretty pathetic!
