I have no doubt that the increase was fueled by the advertising success of the football program "prior" to 2022.
Seems to me that anyone enrolled in on-line learning is a student and should be counted in towards enrollment. If that is not the case, why not? That has to be a partial reason why schools like UCF have over 50,000 enrollment.

Online learning provides great opportunities for those who want a degree, who are also employed. I would think online numbers are counted in total enrollment numbers. I'll be curious to see how hybrid learning evolves in the coming years. Think how many freshman and sophomore level courses could be taught online while also taking some courses in the classroom.

No doubt, but Lafayette media barely covered it so what put Louisiana on the frontal lobes of the general population?

Sans the Covid era, Louisiana enrollment has always shown an increase when the football team wins.

    Advertising.

Read the article. There is no Louisiana Lafayette. However , I expect this from a writer in Lake Charles!

Our enrollment should be exploding with that taking place.

With our fees in place, UL is one of the most expensive public universities in Louisiana if not the most expensive.

UCF has 49,000 on campus undergraduate students. And 14,000 online students.

Even more reason people would take on-line courses. Count everyone towards enrollment. I'll bet that would easily put us over 20,000. Shouldn't be hard to find out.
