Now that's representin!
F'n A.
Congratulations on rep'n Louisiana.
This is what it's all about.
The general public has no idea. Private for-profit, private non-profit, state, and federal money are starting to pour into UL.
People here focus primarily on sports, but as I have said for years, sports will be the last domino to fall. And the fact that that last domino is starting to fall, gives you some idea about what's happening academically.
And there's something enormous coming down the pipe. It's right in front of everyone, but almost no one has noticed. I'm not mentioning it yet, because if forewarned, LSU might engineer a way to stop it.
But as I have noted, UL used to be the #2 school in a one-school state. No longer.
Louisiana is now a two-school state... and academically, more and more #2 is moving into the leader's position.
State is busy sucking down Jell-O shots while UL is turning the NI property into what Doc Pennington dreamed. ULM just got a 800k square feet building donated from Lumen/Century Link (and they’re remaining as a tenant). Meanwhile, Ruston is getting a Buc-ee’s…
This is awesome
I bet those students had to buy their own shirts.
Is Louisiana bigger on theirs than on any other athletic jersey?
I'm very proud...
