Every college in Louisiana is a commuter school, even State.
App isn’t a commuter school. And that’s just the start of differences. There’s plenty more. Like 6,100 live in on campus residence halls. That’s pushing 30% of their student body.
App has off campus housing too. This as I understand it are residence hall students only.
I just recommend doing some research and understand differences before plunging into rabbit holes.
71 lived up there, he knows all the differences, or at least most. UL isn’t set up to mirror App, but our leaders need to figure a different way.
I’m not going down any rabbit holes. I’m genuinely interested in the total number of students we have on campus and immediately surrounding the campus. I’m sure it’s not nearly 6K, but we have invested a lot in dorms and apartments on campus since the days I attended. I’m not sure that the numbers have increased but the facilities are much nicer than then. Example Voorhies was an air conditioned hell. I did enjoy my time so Caffery.
