App State FB Season Tickets Sold Out

Ima enjoy the product we have right now. I renewed my tickets already. I am hoping for the best and hope we get back to the SBC championship game. Stadium renovation begins and then the sky is the limit with all the momentum hopefully we will get from the new stadium and a good season! Let’s Geaux! Keep fighting the good fight and supporting this UL football team!

Unfortunately one is ho-hum and one is an excitement creator.

This years schedule was 80% made under Napier.

Do we have any idea on the actual season tickets sold for UL football as of now?

We have LSU.

They have UNC, Wake, NC St, ECU, Duke and Charlotte to deal with.

Each program draws well over there. The excuse we use is LSU when the reality is we haven’t developed a fan base. We haven’t provided Acadiana with a reason to support athletics.

The University treats fans like 2nd class citizens and doesn’t foster a sense of inclusion like LSU does. Instead we drive fans away in droves with our messaging.

I don’t blame Maggard, that solely at the feet of the last two Martin Hall administrations.

My man, I drove the Tech corridor for 2 straight years. None of those programs are close to Boone, NC. Boone is completely on the West side of the state from Tabacco Row. They aren't affected by anything on the other side of the state. There are no college football programs within the state that have sniffed a national championship.

The Appalachian State program has tradition and there are no parallels' between the Ragin Cajun program period.

Bro we will never be App St. Never, ever, ever be them. What they do will not work here because our student body, administration, fan and alumni don’t want it. They aren’t connected to the university the way the boys on the mountain are.

Just stop, all it is is more frustration.

Going to App is akin to living on an island. One small example is they have over a dozen on campus meal sites. That alone creates a culture UL doesn’t have.

We all know who never purchases season tickets to any events. They complain all the time and are really just a part of the problem. Every season tickets sold help, we just need a bigger push to get folks excited.

Did they say how many? The link I saw didn't have numbers. They just say sold out, anyone could set an arbitrarily low number and claim sold out. Didn't Nebraska used to have entire.stadium sold out via season tickets, why limit?
