Two great baseball movies that I haven’t seen on a list:

The Natural
8 men out

In my opinion, The Natural is the best baseball movie, just edging out Field of Dreams.

This debate came up on the patio a couple nights ago. I think there are “types” of baseball movies.

Best baseball drama: For love of the game
Best baseball entertainment: major league 1&2
Best baseball baseball movie: Moneyball

Natural and Field of dreams were heavily debated for the baseball drama

1. Sound of music
2. Fiddler on the roof
3. Singing in the rain.
Non-musicals
4. The Green Beret.
5. Toro Toro Toro
6. Charlie and the chocolate factory the original.
7. Patton
8. The sandlot.
9. It’s a wonderful life.
10. All Star War movies

If you’re going to include musicals, then The Moulin Rouge has to be in there. It’s fantastic.

The wheel covers came off the hitman's black Dodge Charger.

Bullitt's Highland Green '68 Mustang GT 390 4 speed had aftermarket Torque thrust rims, not hubcaps. None fell off.

They had multiple Mustangs on set, not all 390s. But I watched this auction for one of the 390s. Was a guy’s daily driver until he realized what he had and parked it. He was lucky, had been in a wreck after the owner got it, hood was bent at the radiator frame.

Steve McQueen tried to buy the car in the '70's from the guy who ended up owning it for decades, without success.

My dad was a Ford dealer in the 1970's. He had a really nice, low mile 69 Mach I 390 4 speed on the used car lot. My sister's BF wanted to buy it, so we took it out for a demo one day after school. Huge torque on skinny bias ply tires and it was a handful to drive. My dad refused to sell it to him.
