I’m one of those rare people that prefer Wyatt Earp over Tombstone. While I totally understand the love for Val Kilmer and his portrayal of Holiday, Dennis Quaid did a pretty darn good job as well.

Wyatt Earp is probably more historically accurate….but Tombstone is just so damn entertaining. Kilmer’s Doc is a masterpiece.

    You and me both.

I never realized how much of a minority I was in preferring WE over Tombstone.

I really liked Quaid's portrayal of Doc, but Kilmer was equally as enjoyable.

I just find Tombstone to be a little cheesy.

It might be the best example of what a military family goes through.

I forgot to mention the Dead Zone, one of my favorites when I was young. "The Ice Is Gonna Break" Walken is the best

I'm pretty much in agreement with this list except I would make room for the battle of Midway and tora, tora, tora ( old way classics)

Two great baseball movies that I haven’t seen on a list:

    The Natural
    8 men out

In my opinion, The Natural is the best baseball movie, just edging out Field of Dreams.
