Watching the end of Enemy at the Gates . Not a bad movie

I was gonna watch On the Waterfront the other night, but they want 4 bucks to rent it. I wonder whose getting all that revenue. I'd rent it for 99 cents, but I have too many options at 4 bucks for a black & white movie even if it is a classic.

It is incredible to me that no one listed MY #1: “On the Waterfront”. with the memorable line “crickets make me nervous”. Or “I coulda been a contender”

I just saw "Open Range" on paramount network.. Good modern day Western. Robert Duvall and Kevin Costner were very good.. plot was interesting, dialogue was entertaining and the gun fight at the end was interesting. Always funny when Six shooter has 12 to 14 rounds.

Open Range on again tonight on Direct TV ch 81.

So I turned this on as soon as florida hit their first grand slam. It had it's good moments & it's week moments. Lee J.Cobb & Rod Steiger were fabulous. All of the hoodlums were classic hoodlum. Carl Malden did a good job as well. Brando didn't impress me though. I'm not a huge Brando fan ( except the Godfather) And the movie was a little bit too much Saturday afternoon kid's matinee for my tastes. but that was always the challenge for theatre in that day.
