While not as extreme as what happened with Nezuh this year, he has been much better down the stretch. He beat Wake Forest in the ACC Tournament, going 4.2IP, yielding 0 ER on 4 hits (1 unearned run). WF has been shelling pitchers. In his last four outings (FIU, Duke, Wake Forest, and Maine) he has gone 10.2 IP, yielding 2 ER (3 R) on 9 hits. Rosario was also a freshman All-American in 2021 and made the All-Gainesville regional team that year.

Cajuns need to show patience and drive the pitches they can drive. He will issue his allotment of free passes (50 in 67.2 innings). Make Rosario doubt himself.

He is reportedly more comfortable coming out of the pen, so getting to him early is important. His last starts to end the regular season against Pittsburgh on 5/13 (6BB and 2H, 4ER in 2.2 innings) and Duke on 5/19 (3.0 IP, 5 H, 2 ER, 1BB) were not good. MAKE HIM THROW STRIKES. He was consistently 97 with his fastball (some movement as well) against Maine on Friday ... decent (not great) slider (~83 mph). I liked his change ... good sink and arm-side run. Definitely electric stuff. Threw one complete inning, yielding nothing with a strikeout (13 pitches).
