Lightning delay around 6:00 lasting until about 9:00 Then I want Texas to break one of their NCAA records. In particular the one they set in 2009 for the most innings (25) ever in an NCAA Div 1 game.

Cajuns will have all of their pitching available, except Nezuh and Fluno.

While you hate to see Cash and Couch knocked around like that ... and pitching Christie in this game ... the good news is that it gave them a chance to get rid of any yips they might have in their first appearance of the regional. Hopefully Cash and Couch are more settled their next time out ... and they do not suffer a crisis of confidence. Christie looked sharp ... good down and arm-side movement on his fastball.

I stayed up for that game ... the entire game. Austin Wood went 13 innings for the Longhorns, throwing 169 pitches.

I do not expect a 3-2 game tonight, though.

I was watching but did not make it through the entire game. Think I went into snooze mode around the 16th or so.

We are very lucky we got our game in. Storms just blew up in Coral Gables.
