It’s interesting b/c the reason they aren’t hosting is housing (no hotel rooms in area). Kentucky had the same issue for their regional (a big music festival in area and spring state tournaments are at UK).

They put teams in dorms and that was apparently good enough for the NCAA.

They didn’t even bid for a super regional.

Can you imagine being a player on that team and that happens??

Southern Miss announced that there will be no general public ticket sales. They will give Tennessee the required 600 tickets and all other tickets will be alloted to Southern Miss. season ticket holders. Southern Miss. sold out the entire stadium in season tickets well before the 2023 season started.
