Indiana State NOT hosting because their stadium is booked for the Special Olympics.

It’s interesting b/c the reason they aren’t hosting is housing (no hotel rooms in area). Kentucky had the same issue for their regional (a big music festival in area and spring state tournaments are at UK).

They put teams in dorms and that was apparently good enough for the NCAA.

Story I was told many years ago.... When Robichaux took over at UL he had the baseball camp dates changed. When asked why he wanted them moved he told them that was the week of the CWS. That apparently got a few chuckles and eyerolls from those above...... We all know the rest of that story.

Think ISU blew it, didn’t plan ahead for success. Really pulling for them, kill the Big 10’s excuse about northern teams having a disadvantage.

ISU could have been proactive the moment they got the word last week.

The fact of the matter is that watching the CWS might be one of the best week long free camps any young lad could take in . . .
