Along the Teche - School board may buy building from SMILE

Baton Rouge – The St. Martin Parish School Board may legally buy a building owned by the St. Martin Iberia Lafayette Community Action Agency, Inc., and then lease it back to SMILE – as long as the agency outbids anyone else who might want to lease it, according to an opinion issued by the Louisiana Attorney General’s office.
