I wonder how that compares with last year?. It must be hard for a player from Marshall to get excited to play.

weren't they playing at a minor league park while building a stadium? I think we played an hour away from their campus.

As of my knowledge cutoff in September 2021, the Marshall University baseball team, known as the Thundering Herd, played their home games at the George T. Smailes Field at the Kennedy Center in Huntington, West Virginia. The Kennedy Center is the primary home venue for Marshall baseball and is located on the university's campus.

It's possible that there have been temporary arrangements or special events where the Marshall baseball team played at alternative venues, such as minor league parks, for specific games or circumstances. However, I cannot provide information on any recent or specific instances beyond my knowledge cutoff date. For the most up-to-date and accurate information, it's recommended to refer to official sources or contact Marshall University directly.

Yes. It’s my understanding they are building a new stadium. It was a long haul to their “home” games this year.

Well, we got all those new positions announced. Let's see if they can engage outside the city limits.

Hate to say it, but I'm not optimistic.
