Coastal got a pretty lightweight regional. They have to be happy about that. Could see at least 2 or even 3 SBC teams going to the Supers. Southern Miss can win that Auburn regional. That would great for the conference.

3 seed on paper. In reality 2 and 3 seed is the same and makes no difference.

Miami averaged around 3000 in a 3500 stadium. Last year they hosted and had between 2000-3000 in attendance for their games with Ole Miss and Arizona

Think they had a lot of rain last year so last years attendance might be a bad comparison.

. and Arizona it is. Pure RPI for those bubble selections (not that this was the only reason . record vs. Top 25 and Top 50 played a real role . as it should).

I am happy that the committee saw through the folly of UC Irvine as an at-large selection.

I would take Indiana State in my regional any day over Alabama or South Carolina. Silly.
