ECU’s tournament first game loss was interesting.

Ok, it’s our coaching staff you don’t like. It’s unfortunate you let that cloud the actual facts on whether we should get in or not. Some think there are sufficient good facts where we should get in. You believe we could win a regional. If enough on the committee feel the same, we are in. There are enough that feel so, there are enough good wins in our schedule to get us in. Let’s hope we make it.
The 5th rated conference deserves at least 4 teams. Let's hope it happens. But I'm not counting on it.
Regional hosts sites were announced.
The Cajuns went 4-3 against regional hosts this season.
I will not be surprised if we don’t get in based on the way they handled the host sites. Solid resume doesn’t always get you a bid, but so doesn’t getting swept by JMU.
Coastal and Indiana State only non power conference hosts.
Campbell @ 14 and DBU @17 two seeds. RPIs too high.
USM not hosting.
I actually felt the opposite. The fact that Coastal is still hosting says two things:
1. They still think very highly of Coastal, even with them losing twice and not making the tournament finals.
2. We beat that highly thought of team twice which tells me those wins will likely hold a lot of weight.
Guess we’ll see tomorrow. Coach Robe use to say his Memorial Day was made good or bad by the selection show, will hold true again tomorrow for all of us.

#14 rpi Campbell and #13 Dallas Baptist were replaced by #17 Stanford and #19 Auburn. These rankings are through yesterday's games. They may be different when today's games are tabulated.
If we’re gonna play the “if we didn’t do this” game, the problems are these…
PLAYING 4 home games against BYU, PLAYING 3 home games against High Point (and losing 1, that was a KILLER), PLAYING home games against Jackson State, Grambling, and Southern.
SLU going 25-25, PLAYING Tulane at home with their 19-40 record, and La Tech going 28-31.
BYU, High Point, SLU, Tulane and La Tech having bad seasons was a killer. And the Cajuns played 10 home games against those teams. Absolute killers.
The SWAC teams are what they are. Playing 3 of them (and all at home of course) also hurt.
