Houston is blacked out here.
Harris takes the L, but it was easily his best outing in a month. 6 IP, 4H, 2ER, and 6K.
Great outing. I like his control. Pitch count-strikes was 74-58.
. . . it’s tough pitching for a crap team . . . but better than not pitching in the MLB at all . . . at least here you getting paid and getting exposure . . . keep your head up Hogan and continue to represent . . .
DoFu Sports app allows you to access many blacked out sports telecast, including the Astros. Yes you have to refresh quite often. If you have AT&T service, the Astros games are legally accessible. I suspect MLB will one day reduce the black out area so more people watch online.
Neither Cox nor LUS carry Astros games. They are also blacked out in Louisiana and Texas when on the MLB Network and completely online. Reason for that is due to the Astros deal with AT&T which is a regional sports network, similar to Bally Sports. Large blackout areas are the case with many regional sports networks (RSN) throughout the nation. They pay lots of money to MLB and the franchises to encourage people to subscribe to their service. However, many RSN's are in financial trouble. That is why I believe things will change soon and more games will be available in currently blacked out areas. Note accessing games via the DoFu sports app is considered "illegal" streaming by some. However, when games are not available by normal means, it is expected people will use other ways to access the product. I watch on my IPAD as it is an app difficult to access on regular computers.
