I was surprised to see Rocc shaded so far to RF on Bender’s (righty) 2RBI double. Playing straight-up would have been an out.

Defensive positioning hurt on back to back hitters. Single to left with Debarge shifted over. And then the double to left center with Roccaforte shifted over.

Certainly … but it was the opposite of what I would have expected for Bender. Unless they had a plan to consistently pitch him outer edge and Fluno just missed badly.
