That is the likely scenario, even winning the tournament. They would need a significant amount of help to get there (outside of winning the tournament in undefeated fashion) ... including Coastal Carolina making it to Sunday. Many teams in front of them would need to lose as well. A #3 seed is not out of the question if they lose the next two games. Put another way ... they are closer to a #3 seed than a #1 seed at present.

Coastal wins 5-4
If the 45 minutes between games is correct, Cajuns should start a couple minutes after 8:00
At least Coastal Carolina was pressed by Georgia State. Coastal was forced to use Sharkey (closer) for the 8th and 9th innings (26 pitches). Sharkey tossed four shutout innings against us to close that extra inning rubber match Sunday game. Coastal also threw their top middle reliever (Horn) in the 7th (23 pitches). He was greeted a bit rudely by the Panther hitters.
Liam Doyle started and went 6 full (82 pitches). He closed the last three innings against us in Game 2 of our series in Lafayette.
Three of the most effective arms used against us in that last weekend in April are likely not available in a potential rematch tomorrow.

I do have to admit that the addition of Coastal (to SBC) after their 2017 NC was one hell of a smart move by the folks @ 1500 Sugar Bowl Drive NOLA (SBC)

We Comin . . .

Nezuh nibbling and not attacking. Not good.
Bases loaded early.
Payoff batter up early . . .
