This was far from "look at me". Kid was excited after hitting an absolute bomb to tie it up after giving up a lead in the top of the 9th. Again, I will cite Girouard when we won the Houston regional years ago. Not a soul was embarrassed and would have been irate if he was ejected and couldn't play in the super regional. Do we wish he hadn't thrown the bat? Maybe. But it was heat of moment. Not to the level of impacting the player and the team in subsequent games without a prior warning.

Nobody said what Tyler did was ok or right. And good for him if he hit an absolute bomb. Do what u suppose to do. Run the bases and go celebrate with your team. Prisoners cant run the prison.

USM vs JMU game is flying by, they are in the bottom of the 8th, USM up 7-1. This game will make up some of the time to get our game back on track, but still behind. Tanner Hall is pitching a gem.

Starting Hall is a no brainer if you want him to be available on Sunday.

Only 89 pitches through 8. I wouldn't give him the 9th just because they're up 7-1. He is incredible.

Did you see what actually happened? I very much think Dave is exaggerating what the Troy player did. It wasn't half as inappropriate as Tyler's bat flip. I respect his and most here's opinions on various things. This one I don't. You say celebrate with his team. He hit a bomb. He turned to his dugout, yelled something (in celebration) and threw the bat toward the dugout. Do they have to hide in the dugout and celebrate?
