He’s had 4 offensive line coaches in 3 years with different philosophies. His development was affected by that IMO

He also had Matt Canada as his OC the last season and a half. Canada was the tsab OC a few years ago and didn’t last a year there. He runs a zone scheme that doesn’t fit Dotson skill set as well

He still has the talent to be a very good NFL starter in the right system. His rookie season he played in between veteran players and crushed it. After that he’s played between rookies that haven’t been on the same level and haven’t stuck

Coaches are very hard headed at times. It is unfortunate that characteristic has detrimental effects on playing time of an otherwise very worthy athlete . . .
