At least he is stepping up. I assume there is tons of red tape. They will need a project number, bonds, insurance etc plus it's probably a bid law violation. If it was a 100 percent donation he probably could do it provided he had proper insurance.

Yes, will be a bid if anything moves forward. Guy is just getting his name out there with this stunt. Notice he didn’t say free but said “half” what anyone else would charge. Any legit company knows you can’t do this for a public building.

Pressure washing or painting won't make Blackham any prettier. It's just an ugly building. Original Blackham's aesthetic may have been worth salvaging (prior to its expansion renovation):

It needs to be demolished and a new arena built owned and operated by the university. Similar to The McCarthy Center at Gonzaga.
