Shockingly SLU fired their head baseball coach Matt Riser after this season. Riser had been with SLU for 10 years and took them to 4 NCAA tournament births, including last season. SLU has been a formidable team under Riser, going 320-244 in his 10 seasons. Even this year he finished 25-25, I am shocked that they would fire him, just one season after leading them to the NCAA tournament and with the history of success he had had previously at SLU>

He's not a pitching coach. Never has been one and we don't need another pitching coach who's not a pitching coach.

I got it. Just saying hopefully we don't ever go down that road again. We need to HIRE an experienced pitching coach. Alan Dunn is stuck in Jonesboro, Arkansas. Just sayin. I'm pretty sure we could at least match whatever they're paying him there. It's not about the money for him at this point and I'd bet he'd come here in a heartbeat.

I gotta believe that Alan Dunn will either be let go soon and or be the head coach at Arkansas State. There is no way Tommy Raffo continues to keep his job based on the awful production he has had while there.

They've been bad for quite some time for sure. I'm wondering though if Dunn would even want to be a head coach at this point in his career. Was just thinking out loud. He'd be a great fit here with lots to offer and likely not a very expensive hire.
