Cajuns have a slight edge on the stats. It’s gonna be a war!

I hope we go into Washington with a chip on our shoulder . . . We got this . . .

That could also be deceptive. If one plays most of their games in that tier against 1 to 10 and the other 15 to 25 there should be a big difference in result.

McNeese exposed how weak the Husky pitching is. As I said in another post, this SR is very winnable for the Cajuns. They just have to swing the bats like they did in the Baton Rouge regional and our pitchers have got to throw strikes and limit the walks.

Unfortunately for McNeese and us, they were in the field when it started raining. That situation made fielding the ball in the outfield tricky. Not saying it made the difference in the outcome, but the timing was not on their side. Should have pulled the pitcher after the 3rd run. That had to be a really tough trip home for them. Us hosting them would not be an automatic win for us, but hard to see us losing 2 of 3 to them after the way we handled them this year.

Why were they playing in the rain and not delaying?

It literally rains around the clock in Seattle.

    More of a mist/rain.

I don’t know, I think if the rain didn’t come when it did, McNeese would have won.

Cooler temps there will be nice, but the potential for rain will create some issues. Also, they will be playing their games late in the day...the first game at 9PM. I'd get them over there earlier than the day before.
