Long day for a Cajun fan; some, including me, in our fan base made a lot of noise on social media about this weekend and we didn’t back it up. Thus, I’m inserting my foot in my mouth.

If I had to guess, we’ve got arms coming in with “elite level stuff/velocity who need some work on hitting spots.” The 1 out of every 5 games when said guys hit their spots they will be great.

I hope there’s a few lefties that can’t hit 90 but throw strikes and have good change ups. A righty like that would be fine too.

I don’t remember how long ago it was but there was a kid from somewhere here in Central Texas that was pushing 100. Time flies when you’re getting old so maybe it was more than 7 years ago.

Throwing 95 is not necessary to be competitive. Throwing strikes is anyhow one can throw 95.

Guy couldn't hit the side of a barn. Hit 100 once and never hit 98+ again.
