Thinking that the "Culture" was embedded in the coaches.

Wasn't the impetus for building Yulman 1000 people in the Superdome was pretty embarrassing?

    Not to mention cost ineffective?

And when I heard Tulane, my response was academic as well.

Yulman is exactly what UL should have built next to Girard park in 1971. Had they not built that POS in the biggest parking lot in the world UL would be in the AAC now and possibly moving into the Big 12 like UCF and Houston. Moving off campus is never a good idea.

When we win the SBC next year we still won’t have fans. Acadiana is an LSU stronghold.

Had a chance to make a splash hire well someone who could bring quality players from other schools but listened to Napier about how hiring with in would keep our players. We don't utilize all avenues like the portal believe it or not there are some players in the portal that just want a chance to play football. I mean I can tell you I've seen HUD who's not the coach more in Lafayette than I've seen our coach. It's hard giving money to this program with that type of behavior and product. It was like pulling teeth just to get updates about spring practices. Not asking for a full broadcast but any update would have be appreciated. My feelings are not to be augmentative these are my opinions someone may agree and some may not.

Never EVER let the outgoing coach who has NO connection to the university pick the next guy.

    Exactly!

And then to have him turn around and clean house to take with him multiplied the mistake by a million.

CF was built next to "off campus" Blackham 53 yrs ago. Planning would have started in 1968-69. Your constructive feedback is 56 yrs late.

I’d like to see how much of that $6M was from basketball.
