Last at bat has always been considered a slight advantage awarded to the home team.

Score in the first at bat and set the stage for the rest of the game right away. Immediate pressure.

18 half innings later you either don't even have to go up to bat or you know the objective.

In many sports the last team on offense is considered having the advantage.

Softball doesn't play 18 half innings or 9 full innings.

Run rule first, otherwise Lotief wanted that top of the inning 7th at bat.

    Free practice.

Alabama was fifth in conference yet also fifth in the nation? (not all four ahead in national seeds are in same conference)
Also only region that one of the three visiting teams is not either a P5 or from same state
