    A5 stadium…

I realize the objective, but I don’t see Memphis ending up in the top 64 programs when this all shakes out.

We have the one we can afford and with all his experience he can create a student athletic fee legally or find a sugar daddy like Memphis. It's not happening here.

I was thinking Memphis was the only school with an "athletsic" director.

Memphis is probably the next school moving up to the P5. They have the history in hoops; they have the facilities; they just made R1 at the same time we did; they are a big school in a major demographic; and they are even in the process of adding an engineering school.

This $350M is puzzling (we put our legislative money into research & academics), but it shows that a) Memphis has the clout to get it, which also shows b) it appears UT is admitting they're for real.

Memphis has been the largest metro in Tenn even though Nashville is coming on strong. We'll see if B12 wants them should the Pac12 choose to hang together.
