On top of that, it's time the Communications Department (backed by the AD) took some bold moves. Either this Moscona creep refer to our athletics property on Delta has their credentials revoked. If we had people in positions of influence with balls, we could solve so many problems around here. If we're serious about our branding efforts (which I know we all have our doubts), it's time they take a stand.

At a time where we seem to be clawing for any media attention and reporting on our program, I’m not sure threatening to pull Delta’s credentials would do anything for us.

Believe me, I wish our athletic program was in a position where access to our coaches, games and press conferences was so much desired by local media that such a threat would carry water. But unfortunately, we are not.

First, you confuse the timeline. I was called a fraud on Twitter for making an observation that did not attack anyone. That's when I came here and posted a sentiment that many people hold, but few are willing to say because it puts them in Mat's crosshairs.

Link to where I called someone a "drunk"? Guy has gone on rants numerous times and then comes back the next morning and says "I drank too much." My comment about him drinking too much was after he went on a rant directed at me at night where he called me a fraud. If the shoe fits, wear it.

I never insulted the mans family. The man brought up his wife in a post that replied to my post saying something along the lines of I was eyeballing his wife. He was apparently talking about Vic. I was not the only one that thought he was talking about me. Turbine's selective deletion of posts didnt make that clear. I even texted the dude to try and clear that up. I sincerely would never bring his wife into any conversation on here. Im sure she is a great woman. No idea who she is.

I spent three years in BR. I have attended a grand total of 0 LSU events since that time. I have donated $0 to that school. I give money to UL. I have volunteered for UL. I go to UL events. I have season tickets to football (I have missed maybe 1-2 home football game since 2010) and baseball. Yet, when I brought an observation about him attacking people on twitter, I was called a fraud. Come on man.

i would surmise the lion share of the posting population on this forum drinks when they post considering the opinions. does it matter? writing words on these sort of outlets while drinking is common place and hardly something to ridicule a person for. as much as some seem to be offended by things getting personal on this forum they are usually the posters that get the most personal. take this unusual explanation for example. who cares. yall talk about man about town way too much. talk about the ragin cajuns. if you are all honest with yourselves the forum would be devoid of entertainment without odd jobs like cajun vic or man cave or whatever he calls himself today and posters like man about town and walker and others. say what you will about mr town but he brings content to ragin pagin. this generation of sissies care way too much about agreeing. who cares just talk and say what you think. louisiana b your brand is annoying contrarian and pro louisiana st ex student. wear it. i give you credit for being one of the few posters that will take time to dig for information. thats part of your brand too to be fair. but just be that and leave the personal stuff aside

Are we clawing for media attention? I don't think we are and that's part of the problem. That's still not a reason to demand professional respect from media partners. That station talks about McNeese more than they talk about the Cajuns.
