The question is at what level? I think Landry showed who she can be this past weekend. She has a higher ceiling. Afterwards, the Cajun's will be young.

With the numbers she had in JUCO, especially ERA of 1.33, WHIP 0.950, BAA .185, she should be at worst an above average SBC pitcher. At best, she could be a key component for the Cajuns to make another appearance in the WCWS.

I really like our Portal acquisitions; none of them are end of the bench players, two [Sam Roe, Lexie Delbrey] were contributing players on a regional finals team, one [Denali Loecker] who led the NIST winner in HR and RBI, while having a record of 3-2 with 9 saves in the circle, one [Brooke Ellestad] who was clearly the best player on a bad Summit League team and Sam Ryan. Ryan is technically a Portal player, as she had previously signed with Uconn for the 2023 season, but never enrolled or played there.
