What a roster we have. Some are better at the plate. Some are better base runners. Some are better in the field. Some are batter at all three. Some can pitch. One can pitch, bat, play in the field and run bases, that is why she is the Sunbelt Player of the Year. Only nine can play/bat. Only one can pitch. Only once on base can one run bases. What coach would not love to have about about 15 to choose from in setting your roster through out the game. We have that. We are where we are because we are fortunate enough to fine tune the roster during all parts of the game for the need at hand.

Cissy has been playing lights out. We need defense for the post season, and her bat has came around.

Agreed, that was my point, this team played some pretty good games against some good teams. Every single one of these teams were top 100 RPI teams, and SLU was almost the Southland conference champs.

I think if the Cajuns play remotely well, we beat Omaha handily, my point was they should not be taken lightly as they have played well against some pretty good teams.

Can’t overlook anyone at this point. In the 2021 Regional in BR, we beat George Washington 1-0 in 11 innings in our opening game.

That's why Stormy needs more at bats. If she's swinging a hot bat, why keep her on the bench until pinch hitting late?
