Cajun Mascots

Since moving on from bulldogs decades ago, we've never had a settled upon mascot. While alligators might come to mind, several other schools use the alligator. How about the popular sought after Redfish? No one else uses the redfish image as a mascot that I know of. The Redfish is popular, attractive, fight tough as nails, the alpha game fish all along the wetlands along the Cajun Coast.
