Obviously not hosting is disappointing. But they got a good draw in #3 seed Omaha (#97 RPI ranking) ... which would not have been an at-large team had they not won the conference auto bid. This levels the playing field a bit against LSU, not giving them an explicit pitching advantage in a potential second round winner's bracket matchup. And win that ... and you get a very good, but beatable Washington team ... if the Huskies win their regional.

After the great accomplishments of the team this year, they will never host, at least in my lifetime.
The only saving grace is that possibly with Oklahoma joining the SEC next year, it may stir things around.
